STRIKE
The local bus drivers have gone on strike. They’ve been negotiating all summer with the city council to try and get a fair contract. Apparently the city council – whose members make a VERY nice living – can’t see beyond their own salaries to share the wealth with other city workers. Support your local rank and file city workers and let the city council know how you feel.

sorry, pushed the button before I was ready. Well, the Bus Drivers and City Council had better come to an agreement soon. If the bus drivers refuse to go to work, and it starts to effect the people enjoying the town of Grandview. Everyone might just find another mode of transporation that takes them far away from the city of Grandview!
Well put, couldn't have said it better myself.
And it's been a LONG, LONG time since the City Council even deigned to SPEAK with the bus drivers. I think they'd better wise up and realize just how important those drivers are to getting people around town and to the livelihood and jobs of the City Council members. The bus drivers deserve to be paid for their work!
If people can't get around, they will not be spending money and all those campaign contributions the politicians expect won't be forthcoming.
war is danger fight death hurt friends long long times
